We are self-taught henna artists with over 15 years experience, serving the Boulder/Denver areas. We are mobile, glittery and pack light... very different from our original business, Red Veil Mehndi. That was large, chaotic and we hadn't discovered the joys of glittering henna yet.
Red Veil was open from 1998 to 2002, during which our artists served many local events and festivals, both public and private. After amicably closing in 2002, they went their separate ways, some to continue the art of henna in new far-off locations. Trance Caravan is the 'baby sister' of Red Veil, currently handling up to three artists for small to medium sized groups. We no longer accept or seek gigs for large scale entertainment venues (like stadium concerts) due to the cost of booth insurance.
We have many years of experience in art, design and and creativity beyond the beautiful art of henna. We have many, many books of reference art, symbols and design to choose ideas from, just let us know if you are seeking traditional henna designs or something entirely different. Custom work is available by appointment, or you can catch us at a public event for walk-up prices. We love making your body art amazing and fun, especially in the comfort of your own home, where you can relax and be pampered by safe, respectful artists.
